Test Format
-
Exams that are traditionally given on paper include multiple-choice answer sheets and optional essays.
-
Computer-Based Exam: This type of exam is available in some places and lets candidates finish it on a computer.
Frequency and Registration
-
Test dates: Usually conducted in October, November, December, March, May, and June, although they are conducted many times a year.
-
Registration: There is a registration fee that students must pay in order to secure a spot on a given exam date.
Preparation

Study Tools: To assist students in getting ready, a variety of study guides, online tools, practice exams, and courses are offered.

Admissions Consideration: SAT scores, along with high school GPA and other factors, are used by colleges and universities in their admissions decisions.
-
Score Reporting: Test-takers can send score reports to colleges of their choice to include in their application.
