Canada's Nova Scotia is a province whose immigration policy aims to draw in entrepreneurs, skilled laborers, and other people who can boost the region's economy and communities. The main immigration route for skilled laborers and business owners to settle in the province, as of my most recent information update in September 2021, is the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP).

Under the Nova Scotia Nominee Program, the following are some major streams:

Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry: Designed to accommodate highly skilled persons with at least a year of specialized work experience in one of the province's goal occupations, this stream is in line with the federal Express Entry system. To be eligible for this stream, candidates must have a current Express Entry profile.

Experience in Nova Scotia: Express Entry: Applicants must have worked full-time in a highly skilled field in Nova Scotia for at least a year to be eligible for this stream. A valid Express Entry profile is also a must.

The Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream gives the province the ability to choose applicants from the federal Express Entry pool who fit certain requirements and have prior work experience in particular occupations.

Doctor: This stream is intended for medical professionals who have received a job offer from the IWK Health Centre or the Nova Scotia Health Authority. Its purpose is to entice doctors to work in underprivileged regions of the province.

Entrepreneur: This stream is intended for senior managers or seasoned business owners who wish to reside in Nova Scotia and actively oversee a company.

International Graduate Entrepreneur: Applicants to this stream must be recent graduates of qualifying Nova Scotian universities and must have founded or acquired a firm in the province and been its operator for a minimum of one year.

Stream for Skilled Workers: This stream is for qualified individuals who have received a job offer from a Nova Scotian company.
